SmartApp is a minimalist OS X utility designed to help you keep track of your traffic usage whenever you are connected to a Wi-Fi network. The app will display the daily usage in the status bar, but you get more detailed statistical information within the associated panel. To be able to use the SmartApp utility you need to make sure that you are connected to a Wi-Fi network. SmartApp will display the hotspot name in its main panel, and you get to see how much traffic you have routed through the network. At the same time, you get to see your daily usage on all networks, and how much traffic you have been using since the utility started recording. Note that you get to reset the data at any time via the Settings menu.
