Rec'd is a minimalist OS X utility based on Node.js that aims to help you record live audio streams with minimal effort. The app can work with MP3 URLs or can extract the live stream from M3U files. The Rec'd user interface is represented by a single panel where you must input the URL for the MP3 audio stream you want to record. In addition, you must setup the output MP3 file and the storage location before pressing the Record button. Rec'd comes with a small timer that lets you know how long has been since you started the recording. When you think you don’t want to capture the audio anymore, press the red record button again and the process will stop.
