Meicd is a straightforward client daemon for the Meridian Mac mei protocols capable to decode mei-network and mei-observer events into comma separated value format. Thanks to its recording abilities, you can separate log files for each event type or to a named pipe in order to process the data with another app that reades from the pipe. It is worth mentioning that mei protocole are real time and, as a result, meicd will automatically write events to file or pipe within 60 seconds from their arrival.
