SRTool is minimalistic OS X application that enables you to very easily convert TXT subtitles to the popular SRT format. The SRT file extension is highly common among many media players, both hardware and software. All you need to do is to drag and drop a TXT subtitle onto the main window (or open it via CMD + O or from the File menu) and the app will place a SRT copy in the same location as the original subtitle file. Before converting the TXT subtitle to SRT, you will be asked to choose the frame rate for the movie, if it is not determined. The conversion is instant and you'll be able to use the SRT file immediately.
