Material Colors is a minimalist application developed to meet the needs of graphic designers that work with the standard material color palette. The utility can be used to both preview the colors and extract their code to be used in third party apps. By default, Material Colors launches as a status bar application: the menu associated with the small icon placed in your status bar allows you to open the color panel, but also includes the option to switch to the normal app mode. The latter moves the Material Colors icon to your Dock and frees up space in the status bar. Moreover, clicking the Material Colors Dock icon will automatically launch the color panel: you don’t have to deal with any menu.
