KryptonX is a free and very easy to use encryption OS X tool that can be used to securely protect your personal and/or confidential information, using Apple's CommonCrypto library and 256 bit AES in CBC mode. KryptonX is not a password manager: it only encrypts and decrypts your plain text files using the 256-bit AES encryption algorithm. To use KryptonX you should simply drag and drop files and folders onto its icon, or on to the green-crystal drop area in its main window. Then you have to enter a secure passphrase and click the Krypt button.
