DAOMedge 9.2.2 Description:
DAOMedge's basic principle is that the developer is in complete control of when and how the data is accessed. With JDO all that is hidden and all the developer needs to do is get and set properties, this can some times be hazardous especially when value objects are created on the fly but don't need to, or shouldn't, be persisted. The java docs are in the javadoc directory. DAOMedge uses JDBC to connect so requires JDBC drivers and requires some Java libraries to be installed in order to work.
