To make sure the EZ 7z will work properly, mount the app’s disc image and copy the app to your Mac: if you try to run the utility directly from the volume, you will receive an error message when you try to perform any task. EZ 7z is able to unpack and create various types of archives: 7z, bzip2, gzip, tar, or zip. In addition, EZ 7z is also able to parchive your split archives: use the Par2 button placed on the top app toolbar.
