Delete Now app allows you to drop a file on it's icon and it will be deleted immediately, if possible. You will not be able to delete locked items until you will unlock them (you will get a cryptic error message if you try). Double-click the Delete Now icon to set two options. The first question is whether or not to use a confirmation dialog before carrying out the delete. The second controls whether or not to overwrite the file before deleting it. This Applescript application simply uses the Unix command "rm" to do the dirty work. Open a terminal window and type "man rm" for more information.
