The Spotlight searching tool that comes integrated within Mac OS X by default is extremely useful, but does not allow you to filter the search results by using custom rules. Tembo The Tembo user interface is represented by a simple, organized window where you can perform searches, view the results, and apply various filters. For your convenience, Tembo allows you to open multiple search windows at the same time, which means that you can perform more than one query concomitantly. Right off the bat, the Tembo results are organized by file type category, but you can also sort the results by creation / modification / last opened date (you also get to specify the appropriate time frame). At the same time, you have the option to choose the source location (you can add a specific folder to the list via the contextual menu).
