Fracture is a beautiful screensaver designed to generate random fractal designs. Fracture is able to render the Julia Sets, Mandelbrot Set, Self-Squared Dragons, and Attraction Basin fractals. The images are generated using Halley's Method, Newton's Method and two other root-finding algorithms. To use Fracture simply double click the .saver file and it will be automatically placed in the “YourHome/Library/ScreenSavers/”folder. The screen saver can be set up by System Preference.
