The archives created using WinZipper will automatically exclude hidden OS X files such as .DS_Store and will allow you to share clean zip archives with your friends and colleagues who use Windows computers. To use the WinZipper workflow, you must first install it as an OS X service by double clicking on the WinZipper.workflow in the archive to open it in the Automator app. Next you have to create a new OS X service by clicking on "New" in the Automator "File" menu and selecting "Service" in the dialog that will appear.
